Privacy Policy
NyxWorks ("we", "us", "our") is an Amsterdam-based creative and digital studio. This page explains what data we collect through nyxworks.nl, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It applies to nyxworks.nl and nyxworks.nl/nl.

Who we are

What we collect
- Contact and project forms — name, email address, and whatever you write in the message field, when you use the contact form, the consultation booking form, or a service page's quiz/lead form.
- Free website scan requests — the URL you submit and the email address to send the report to.
- Checkout details — when you buy a fixed-price product, our payment processor collects the billing details needed to process payment and issue a VAT invoice. We do not store full card numbers ourselves.
- Basic technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.

Why we collect it
To reply to your message, prepare a quote, deliver a purchased product or service, issue invoices, keep the site secure, and — only where you've agreed via the cookie banner — to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
Legal basis
We process contact and order data because it's necessary to respond to your request or fulfil a contract with you. Where we use optional analytics cookies, we rely on your consent, given or withdrawn at any time via the cookie banner.
Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies (e.g. remembering that you've dismissed the cookie banner, and basic security protections on our forms) are set automatically and don't require consent. Any analytics or marketing cookies are only set after you actively accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for nyxworks.nl.
Who we share data with
We don't sell your data. It may be shared with the specific service providers needed to run the site and deliver your order — for example our hosting provider, our payment processor, and, for AI-related products, the AI provider used for that project (disclosed to you as part of that project). Each of these providers is bound by its own data-processing terms.
International transfers
Some service providers we use may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on providers that offer appropriate safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) for that transfer.
How long we keep it
Contact and quote enquiries that don't lead to a project are kept for as long as reasonably useful for follow-up, then deleted. Invoicing data is kept for as long as Dutch tax law requires (currently seven years). Delivered project files are kept per the agreement with you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or to restrict or object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@nyxworks.nl. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Children
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page as the site or our tools change. The date at the top always shows the latest revision.
